The Universe is calling

I received a note from the Universe today that I want to share with you.

“The slate's been wiped clean, the past has released its grip, and before you sparkles eternity, yearning for direction. Harriet, all that lies between you and the life of your dreams is just one teeny, tiny, gentle, little rule. Only one condition, prerequisite, principle that matters.

It's not love. It's not God. It's not fate, or luck, or karma. It's not complicated or esoteric, and you needn't sacrifice, plead, or pray to invoke it. It's the only rule that's ever existed, and it's the only one that will ever exist. No reality can exist in its absence. For its mere existence, you are. With its existence, the power, the light, and the way are revealed. It's your purpose to discover it, and it's your destiny to master it. It's the beginning, the middle, and the end. The Alpha and the Omega. The be-all and end-all of every wish, desire, and dream and you are its keeper.

This caveat of all caveats is that absolutely nothing can be anything until it is first imagined. Thoughts become things, nothing else does. And so, Harriet, it's the thoughts you choose from here on out that will become the things and events of your life, forevermore. It is written in stone. There's no other way. It's your ticket to anywhere you can dream of. Your passport to abundance, health, and friendships. The key to the palace of your wildest dreams.

Your thoughts, and your thoughts alone, will set you in motion. Your thoughts will yield the inspiration, creativity, and determination you need. Your thoughts will orchestrate the magic and inspire the Universe. Your thoughts will carry you to the finish line if you just keep thinking them. Never give up. Never waiver, doubt, or ask.

Aim high.

That you've even received this Note, that you're able to read it through, means you are so close. So extraordinarily close. The hardest work has been done. The wars have already been waged. The lessons have already been learned. The journey, now, is for home.

Ritalin in the news - all over

red dice for learningSeems this news article is all over the place today. I heard it on NPR this morning and in the afternoon, in NY Times (front page), MS NBC also front page. I guess this shows that brain performance is big news - so read it here - Ritalin. I'm sure impressed in the amount of recent news (see our news section) about brains, aging and performance. Makes me want to go for a walk, listen to classical music (it's better for your brain), play some chess and meet friends for an argument!

   

Healthy Attitudes for Mom

florida-healthy-momTraveling again-I’m off to Florida to visit Mom to give her some healthy attitudes

It’s funny to me how I used to travel every month to a different city holding seminars to teach seminars leaders how to make money in the seminar business. I remember getting on the plane and being able to dress in the plane’s bathroom before I got off. How did I do that? I wasn’t any thinner than I am now but somehow thinking of doing it today in that tiny tiny bathroom seems near impossible. Ah, memories of long ago or the past. We all have thoughts about how we were physically and mentally in years past. Don’t go there! We really need to live in the now and say to ourselves,” how can I improve my life to make it the best day?” Let’s keep our eye on developing more capabilities and not so worried about the challenge of losing some. Remember, it is all about perspective and attitude. Make yours a good one.

   

Travel and Health Tips

I read magazines all the time about all the nice personal equipment you can take to feel more comfortable for a long plane ride. Actually, first class makes a difference (Ha!) but I’m a Southwest traveler and so stand with your number and just take an undesignated seat. But there are certain tricks that help you feel more comfortable. Sometimes when people fall asleep, their head flops down. This can be helped with a travel pillow that holds it in place. Shoes off, walk around, don’t sit the whole trip, bad for your back, drink water, etc. are all good suggestions. But for me, being more concerned about my health than comfort, I get concerned with the stuff coming out of the air ducts, and people coughing and sneezing. This definitely causes me to take mega doses of Vitamin C before my trip, during my trip and after too. I find it works!

   

New Words for Youthing

Good phrases : healthspan – your healthy life measured in years and mutifactorial approach – combining and integrating products and regimens to solve complex problems in health, longevity and youthing. This shows me the general public is starting to get the Youthing Essentials messages and methods! In that youthing is a combination and integration of brain, skin, nutrition and fitness!

I’ve spent years doing “due diligence”-checking the product, the manufacture, the efficacy of ingredients. We are what we put into our bodies, and we need to be careful.

Latest News: Glucomannan May Cause Choking if Not Taken with Fluid

On January 29, 2010, the Canadian health department, Health Canada, advised that natural health products containing the ingredient glucomannan in tablet, capsule or powder form have a potential for harm if taken without at least 8 ounces of water or other fluid. The risk includes choking and/or blockage of the throat, esophagus or intestine, according to international adverse reaction case reports. It is also important to note that these products should NOT be taken immediately before going to bed.
