Digestion and eating right
Written by Harriet Diamond
Just My Opinion- I think we’ve got poor digestion that causes inflammation and disease.
When I started out in nutrition some 35 years ago, I tried every diet I could so I would be able to be an expert for my clients. There’s nothing like living it, breathing it, and walking it before you talk about it. So I was a vegan, fruitarian, carbogenerian (I just made that up, eating only carbs) and lived for years on every diet offered or talked about.
But what did I learn through all of that? The best form of eating was to combine food properly at each meal.
For example, if I was having protein for breakfast , then I would not have fruits or
starch. Only a veggie. Veggies combine well with everything. Salad and veggies, and protein are ideal. I would keep it all very simple. Less combinations are much easier to digest. I’m sure you’ve heard the wise words "Melons - eat them alone or leave them alone!" Don’t add cottage cheese or some milk product with it. You are sure to feel crummy afterwards.
If you are going to have ice cream then just enjoy that alone. That’s my mono system. I used to have one food at a time. Breakfast might be just eggs, lunch potatoes and protein and salad for evening dinner.
We just need to make things simpler including our meals.
All Xymatic is a fabulous digestive and works down to the cellular level, not just being ka digestive helper for the food in one meal. If you are looking for that, ReNew, found in our supplement section, definitely works for that with an added bonus for losing weight. Great formula. And remember, I believe in organic, homeopathic and natural.
Remember, it’s not just what’s in a supplement, but how the availability and delivery system of that supplement works in your body.
Happy Digesting! And feeling good enough after a meal to go back to work!
