Harriet Diamond – The Founder

For more than thirty years, Harriet has been involved at many levels in the health and wellness industry. Harriet's undergraduate and post graduate education includes sociology, psychology, gerontology and nutrition. Her experience as a nutritional consultant with health food stores and a certified consultant for NutriSystems cultivated a well-rounded knowledge of business and health. It also developed a passion about helping people feel healthy, energized and happy. “Even though I have been in the health industry forever," she says, "I am still amazed that essential solutions to good health and vibrant living have been so hard to find."

Harriet's mission became - create a one stop resource for business professionals, where information and proven products may be found.

Rick Maltin – The Scientist

You know those “boy racers” blasting along on exotic Italian motorbikes, leaning so far into the curves on twisty roads that their knees are skimming just inches above the asphalt? That’s Rick Maltin, Youthing Essentials’ Scientist and Technical Director, out for his usual “Sunday drive” through the Sierra foothills ... Except that Rick is not 19 or 20 like his riding pals, he’s a vibrant 61.

Rick was a Ph.D. candidate in Astrophysics in the early ‘70s when he got the itch to actually “do” something, thus beginning a long career in Silicon Valley technology start-ups. He brings a rigorous and practical side to Youthing Essentials. His bottom line is: “Our products and services must work as advertised.” He’s responsible for our overall technical direction, business policy and maintenance of the corporate fleet of Ducati motorcycles.
